HiPA Agency
Invite-only beta · Hong Kong

A personal assistant waiting for you in a chatroom.

HiPA gives each person a quiet, always-on assistant that handles small things over text, so the small things stop piling up.

What it is

You text it like you would text a friend. Voice notes work. So do photos and forwarded messages. It sets reminders, drafts replies, schedules things, triages your inbox a little, and runs the kind of small errands that a capable human assistant would.

It is not another chatbot window you have to remember to open. It lives in the chat thread you already use, it remembers you, and it talks like a person rather than a UI.

Why I'm building it

Most things branded as “AI assistants” quietly make you do more work to get a little help. You open another app, you learn another interface, you write a careful prompt, you read a wall of text. The interesting question to me is what an assistant who lives in your existing chat thread looks like — quiet, slow when it should be slow, and yours alone.

HiPA is a personal long-running project. I work on it in the evenings, with a small group of users, and I expect to keep doing so for a long time.
